The first step to prepare your property for sale would be a staging consultation (working session) in your home. We will bring an objective eye to the project and look at every room with the buyers point of view. Some of the rooms may be transformed during this time and you will also have a detailed and prioritized ‘to do’ list of recommendations. With the list of recommendations in hand, you choose how much of the work you would like to do yourself or have Room 4 Design to do it for you for a quick hassle free alternative. If you choose to do the work yourself, we encourage the home owner to make notes as we go through the house - room by room. If you decide you would like Room 4 Design to do the work for you, we will work with what you have and may recommend purchasing or renting items, when appropriate. A planning budget will be provided at the end of the meeting. With your approval to the budget, Room 4 Design will source all the items and install them at the agreed date.
When you sell a house, you are selling a home a place where a family will raise their kids, bring their hopes and dreams. For this reason we create a home personalized to the demographics of the market sector. We bring in furniture, rugs, lighting and beautiful accessories to showcase your investment. Staged homes are quickly recognized and provide a significant edge over the market competition. Potential buyers can’t visualize how furniture will fit in an empty space - and when they are unsure, they don’t buy. For this reason alone, builders stage show homes to romance the buyers.

Certified bonded stagers will refine and re-arrange your belongings. We will only use your best pieces to showcase your home. We make recommendations for what stays and what needs to be packed away. We will incorporate our own furniture, artwork and accessories if needed. We will enhance your home to create the show home, magazine look that appeals to so many prospective buyers. We achieve this by applying staging strategies to maximize your space and create a clean, clutter free, spacious, beautiful environment.

Client consultation is required with this service.
De-cluttering can be an overwhelming job for many clients. The longer they have lived in their homes, the worse it can be. We offer this service to help them get started with what we call the 'prepack'. They have to pack up anyway; we just nudge them along in a good way!
We will provide the following resources as required: Handyman, Painter, Electrician, just to name a few. We also have access to 'trade-only' suppliers, and have a relationship with many Vancouver retailers.
We know what a difficult job selling can be, so we provide our clients with a special 'move-in' service. We know how they like to live so who better to set them up in their new home. We depersonalized their property for selling, now we can personalize their new home - and usually in just one day.
